There are five bible passages within the text of the King James version of the Bible that contain the word "conceit" (You are on the site and Conceit is our theme!.)

Proverbs 18:11: The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.

Proverbs 26:5: Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Proverbs 26:12: Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

Proverbs 26:16: The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.

Proverbs 28:11: The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

Philippians 2:3: Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

1 Timothy 3:6: He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.

NLT (New Living Translation)

Psalms 36:2: In their blind conceit, they cannot see how wicked they really are.

Psalms 101:5: I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.


NKJV (New King James Version)
