Because I have conceit, I had a conceit to create this front page of conceit.org.
This is a conceit and because you are reading this, it is not my conceit.
While I wish I were a poet like my father and could use conceit, it is certain, due to my conceit, that if I took more time, I would create a conceit.
Maybe I should just listen to Conceit or simply read about the history of the conceit.
Instead, it appears that what I have created is simply a conceit.
The wordier version of the passage above, without conceit:
Because I have an extremely favorable opinion of my own abilities and wit (conceit), I had a fanciful notion and whim (conceit) to create this front page of conceit.org.
This is a thought and idea that was conceived in my mind (conceit) and because you are reading this it is not my imagination or fancy (conceit).
While I wish I were a poet like my father and could use metaphors that way (conceit), it is certain, due to my favorable and especially high opinion of my own abilities (conceit), that if I took more time, I would create an elaborate one that was both strained and of a far-fetched nature (conceit).
Maybe I should just listen to a specific hip/hop, rap group (named Conceit) or simply read about the history of a figure of speech used to create a clever and resourceful parallel between items or situations that at first glance have nothing in common (conceit).
Instead, it appears that what I have created is simply a purely decorative article (conceit).
The complete story of conceit.org:
I saw the domain for sale, didn't think I had a dictionary word .ORG domain, so I grabbed up conceit.org. Yes, I checked to make sure it was spelled correctly using a Word's Spell Check feature. In fact, Word wanted to change the case and made it appear that the domain name was spelled wrong. So I put conceit in a sentence and then Word didn't have to change it to "Sentence" case because it was the only word in the document. Once I saw that it was spelled correctly -- I just couldn't believe that conceit.org could be mine!
Start to finish, from seeing the availability of conceit.org, transferring the name, setting us the web server and name server, creating the concept along with this "content", only took a couple of hours. It took so long because I had a tooth extraction the day before, was taking pain killers, along with an antibiotic and was also helping a friend move his entire office. This story is all true, but it sure sounds like conceit.
